1. BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY

  • No Deposit Required: For standard individual bookings, no deposit is required in advance. You can pay the full amount upon pick-up or at our office before the tour/bus departure.

  • Payment Methods: We accept Cash (VND/USD), Credit Cards (Visa, Master), and Bank Transfers.

  • Transaction Fees: Please note that all bank transaction fees or credit card surcharges (if any) are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or voucher from The New Way Travel.

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

To ensure the quality of service and vehicle arrangement, the following cancellation fees apply:

A. For Tours (Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba)

  • Cancellation > 48 hours prior to departure: 100% Refund (Free Cancellation).

  • Cancellation between 24 to 48 hours prior to departure: 50% Charge (Refund 50% if paid, or charge 50% if unpaid).

  • Cancellation < 24 hours or No-Show: 100% Charge (No Refund).

  • Force Majeure: In case of cancellation due to bad weather (typhoon, storms) or bans by the Port Authority, 100% of the payment will be refunded (or the tour date can be rescheduled free of charge).

B. For Sleeper Bus/Open Bus Tickets

  • Cancellation > 24 hours prior to departure: Free cancellation or free date change (subject to availability).

  • Cancellation < 24 hours prior to departure: 100% Charge (No Refund, No Amendment).

3. CHILDREN’S POLICY

For Tours:

  • Infant (0 – 3 years old): Free of charge (sharing seat/bed with parents).

  • Child (4 – 8 years old): 75% of Adult Price.

  • Adult (9 years and older): 100% Adult Price.

For Sleeper Bus:

  • Children under 5 years old: Free of charge (sharing a seat/berth with an adult).

  • Children from 5 years old OR any child occupying a separate seat: Charged as an Adult.

4. TRANSPORTATION & LUGGAGE (For Bus Services)

  • Luggage Allowance: Each passenger is allowed 1 large piece of luggage (up to 20kg) stored in the bus compartment and 1 small carry-on bag.

  • Prohibited Items: It is strictly forbidden to carry weapons, explosives, flammables, drugs, or foods with strong odors (e.g., Durian, Jackfruit) on the bus.

  • Liability: The New Way Travel acts as an agent for certain bus routes. While we ensure the quality of our partners, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or mechanical failure of third-party vehicles, though we will assist in resolving any issues.

5. INSURANCE

  • Travel insurance is generally included in our Tour Packages (as per the Vietnam Tourism Law). However, we strongly recommend that all passengers purchase their own comprehensive Travel Insurance from their home country to cover medical evacuation, trip cancellation, or personal property loss.
